19th Century Theorem

Fine 19th Century Signed Folk Art Theorem on Paper

Measuring 7″ x 8 1/8″ sight in a period gilt frame that measures 10″ x 11 1/8″, this watercolor theorem on paper is a fine example of this early 19th century medium. There are slight, unobtrusive  stains that can be seen in the photos, but they are testament to the age of the piece and in no way detract from the brilliant colors and skillful articulation of the imagery. The piece is signed “Miss H.W.Bryant” centered under the image, and the verso is inscribed “Dr. Bridge…frame to suit.”
